Hi,

welcome to my beauty blog!

 My name is Paula and I come from a small island in the Caribbean called Puerto Rico. On April 27th, 2016 I started this blog to pursue my interest in all-things-beauty. Since my middle-school obsession with cosmetology, I've learned a few tips and tricks to share with you all. On this blog I include reviews, first impressions, beauty hacks, and more.

Some things to know about me...

-My skin type is very fair with yellow undertones; AKA warm. It's hard to find foundations that truly match my complexion. 

-I am a drugstore AND high end product fiend. I think that cheaper products are not necessarily of lesser quality and vice versa.

-I am 18 years old and do not have a cosmetology license. All tips and reviews are solely based on my opinion, preference, and knowledge! By no means do I boast to be a licensed beauty professional.

-I self-taught myself through YouTube tutorials and blogs. Ever since I was in 6th grade, I had a growing interest in makeup. I even used to sneak makeup to school so I wouldn't get in trouble with my mom! (Probably wasn't a good idea though....)

-I live in Houston, TX! The weather is extremely unpredictable and usually humid, so it's hard to get my hair to stay the same throughout the day and keep my makeup fresh. I do have tricks though that I will eventually share with you all.

-Because I'm so pale, I self-tan occasionally. I kinda stay away from it though. Most self-tanners just come out orange and streaky on my skin. There are some holy-grail tanners that never seem to fail me though, one of them being the "St. Tropez In-Shower Gradual Tan." It's $25.00 at Ulta and totally worth it. 

-Makeup is not my only passion. One of the most precious parts of my life has centered around making music. I have played the violin for nearly 8 years now and am going to continue studying it in college. It has had a profound influence on me. 

-I have a very busy schedule, so I will try to regulate my posting days. Because this blog is so new, I will not set a definite day until I get all the kinks worked out. Can't wait for this blog to grow!
